The Basics: 2002 AMA Race Prepped Yamaha R1 with R7 swingarm. This bike was built for Aaron Gobert to be campaigned in the 2002 race season. Unfortunately, Aaron had a bad high-speed crash in Daytona (FL) so the bike was never used except for nominal testing. Consequently, I acquired a very unique "street" motorcycle! In 2004, Gobert won the Superstock championship! Here are a few pictures of me at Buttonwillow Raceway.
