The Great Malibu MINI Run

Greetings MINIacs,
Member Tim Lawrence planned an amazing event for Sunday, March 14th! It was HUUUGE in a MINI way. ;-) SCMM enjoyed the twisties, goodies were given-away, lunch was had with friends, event sponsors, a raffle, silent auction to benefit charity, and a bunch of really cool surprises that you have not seen anywhere else before were handed out!
Professional Motor-Action Photographer Esteban Gallegos, will be on hand to shoot YOUR Mini, twisting through tight turns or screaming down an open road. Click on photos to view samples:

you to take a half-day or full day of photos on the roads of your choice!

Gelson's Market Parking Lot

Pacific Palisades, CA
From the north, take the Sunset Blvd exit off the 405 and head to Pacific Palisades. (About 10 minutes). Gelson's is on the left, right before Temescal. From the south, take PCH North from Santa Monica, make a right on Temescal and then a right on Sunset. Gelsons is one the right side.
From the meeting point we'll motor some awesome roads to Automotive Legends, arriving by 10:30 AM in the Cross Creek Shopping Center in Malibu. The total time approximate drive time for the first leg of the adventure is 1hr and 45min. VIP parking will be roped off for a limited number of MINIs (see above). Lunch will be an on-your-own deal, with several great eateries in the shopping center to choose from. We'll have a Raffle , Awards Show , and a Goodie Bag with cool stuff from all the sponsors for every MINI that participates in the event. Sponsors include (but not all have been confirmed) Automotive Legends (with lots of cool MINI products you've never seen!), CEC Wheels/AC Schnitzer, Coffee Bean, Indiana Joans Clothing, Malibu Soap Gallery, Malibu Auto Detail, Mini Mania, Moss Mini, Nick Alexander MINI, and others.
